Marc Snyder Campaign Fellowship
- The Campaign Fellowship is an organizing and leadership program designed to elect Marc Snyder, and provide young people with immersive, first-hand experience on a political campaign.
- Campaign Fellows will primarily help to run the campaign’s field program; they will recruit, train, and manage volunteers, as well as engage in direct voter contact and persuasion themselves.
- Those interested in communications, fundraising, or digital/social media will also be provided with various opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
- Campaign Fellows must commit to 5-10 hours per week. The campaign will work closely with Fellows to create a schedule that coincides with their other various commitments.
Marc Snyder is the Democratic candidate for Colorado’s 18th state house district. He served on the Manitou Springs City Council from 2004-2010 and as the Mayor of Manitou Springs from 2010-2016. Marc has dedicated the past 20 years of his life to public service in the Pikes Peak region, and will continue to lead on critical issues facing our community in the state legislature. Marc is also an attorney, and specializes in helping families with adults or children who have disabilities.
Marc believes that politically engaged young people are our society’s greatest hope for overcoming the cynicism and divisiveness that plagues much of our politics. He will actively seek input from Campaign Fellows on policy, communications, and field work. Marc’s vast experience and deep roots in our community, combined with the vibrancy and fresh ideas of Campaign Fellows, will create a uniquely robust campaign.
House District 18 is one of the most competitive seats in Colorado. The strength of our campaign’s field operation could directly influence the balance of political power statewide.
